“I want to be involved, how can I go about it?”

If you’re a step-grandparent, it can be hard to know how involved you should be. It can also be difficult since your child might pull away, or you might see less of your grandchildren during the transition. It’s important to stay patient, even though it’s difficult. As an older person, you have a lot of wisdom and life experience, and your children and grandchildren (step or otherwise) will come to appreciate it.
