Stepfamilies Australia runs professional courses to help other professionals become knowledgeable in stepfamily dynamics.  Currently this training comes with a training fee.  We are hoping in the future that the Stepfamily Professional Network (SPN) will cover the cost of this training and the resources that accompany it.

Step and blended family are extremely different in their structure and the way we parent in these structures differs quite considerably to how we parent with the absence of these complexities. This professional training will highlight these complexities and give you the tools to impart to parents on how to build a thriving environment that fosters connection and builds on the different kinds of relationships that exist.  The challenges step families face are unique to step families so taking and learning a different approach is paramount to this ongoing learning process.
