If you’re aged 13-18, this tipsheet is for you. Joining a stepfamily can be difficult, since you didn’t make the decision. But you do get a say in how things will be, and it’s important to let your parents know how you’re feeling. Remember to give your new stepparent a chance. It might be hard to believe, but the change can be hard for them as well.
